Spring 2013 Fashion Trends

Spring 2012 brought us color-blocking, super bold and even futuristic prints, and metallics! Spring 2013 makes a return to femininity! From vibrant floral prints to cool blue closets, we’ve chosen our top trends straight off the runways to get you through the spring season!

Trend: Floral

Bold floral prints are vibrant, effortless, and for those who love a touch of ‘60s in their attire. While we’ll see some of the loud floral prints this spring, look for a new trend to emerge. We’re going to see more subtle floral patterns in softer shades of grays, yellows, and corals. Ruffled chiffon cocktail frocks, paired with T-strap platform sandals are going to give you that runway look.

Trend: Stripe

Over the last six months of catwalks showcasing spring trends for 2013, it’s obvious that stripes are going to be huge this season! Horizontal, vertical, and even diagonal stripes will be hot this spring.

Trend: Graphics

Another huge trend you’ll see this year is graphics. Look for printed images on anything and everything—from photo image prints on leggings to graphic-themed shirts.

Trend: Peek-a-boo

As the weather warms up this spring, so will this trend! Look for peek-a-boo cutouts in leggings, shirts, and dresses! Bring a little playfulness to your closet this spring by adding a cute peplum top with subtle cutouts.

Trend: Middle-Eastern Inspired

This spring, you’ll see bright blue, green, and orange Middle-Eastern inspired printed clothes! From symmetrical designs, to asymmetrical, there is sure to be a favorite look for you to add to your closet!

Trend: Subtle Ruffles

We’re going to see a departure from the traditional ruffle that spring and summer 2012 brought us. Look for more relaxed, sleek ruffles added to dresses and tops this spring.

Trend: Blue

Whether you want to keep the blue trend to a minimal with just a scarf or turquoise cabochon bangles, or dive head first into this trend with a little blue dress, look for aqua, sky blue, and navy as this spring’s new black. Other colors hot this spring? Bright greens and oranges!
